🔍 1. How to Choose Correctly
Safe driving starts with correct visibility. Follow these steps for zero mistakes:
Use the Filter: On the homepage, select Brand > Model > Year. It's the most reliable way to find your part.
Identify the Side:
Driver's Side: Left mirror.
Passenger's Side: Right mirror.
What's included in the package: Every kathreptes.gr glass comes with a safety film (already applied), high-strength double-sided tape, and special mirror silicone.
📥 2. Installation Instructions
We offer two methods, depending on the condition of your current mirror.
Method A: Overlay on the Old Glass
The ideal method if your old mirror is still firmly in place.
Cleaning (Critical): Clean the old mirror with rubbing alcohol. Every trace of grease must be removed.
Preparation: Don't remove the transparent film from the new glass. Stick 3-4 strips of double-sided tape on the back of it.
Silicone: Apply small dots of silicone in the gaps between the strips of tape.
Placement: Align carefully and press firmly with your palm for 60 seconds.
⚠️ Tip: Avoid washing the vehicle for the next 24 hours until the silicone has fully dried.
Method B: Full Replacement
Use this method if the old glass is missing or completely destroyed.
Removal: Use a plastic spatula to remove the remains of the old mirror from the plastic base.
Cleaning the Base: The plastic base must be completely smooth and clean before fitting the new glass.
Application: Follow the same tape and silicone procedure as in Method A.

Product & Installation
Q: Can I stick the new glass on top of a broken one?
Yes, as long as no large pieces are missing that would affect flatness. The silicone will cover minor differences.
Q: What is the safety film?
It's a special coating on the back that, in the event of an accident, holds fragments together so you don't get hurt. Do not remove it.
